168 Chinook's Edge students earn a Chromebook
Congratulations to 168 Chinook’s Edge students who earned themselves a Chromebook over the summer!
The students participated in the Jumpstart program. Jumpstart provides a foundation in the Google operating environment, and is geared to high school students.
Students who earn at least six credits in the program receive a Chromebook.
Over the past five years since Jumpstart began, the number of students has steadily increased. In addition to the 168 chromebooks distributed, students earned a total of 1275 credits in Jumpstart this year. This represents an 18 percent increase compared to last year. In the summer of 2024, 142 students earned Chromebooks and cumulatively students earned a total of 1077 credits.
