As the Division Principal, Mike Garrow is responsible for Teacher and Leader Development. He supports the supervision and evaluation of new teachers in the division, works with universities to coordinate student teacher placements, and mentors new school administrators within the division.

Mike has thirteen years of school-based leadership experience, most recently as Principal of H.J Cody High School in Sylvan Lake.  He has a M.Ed (Curriculum and Instruction) from the University of Phoenix, a B.Ed (Math & Science) from the University of Alberta, as well as a Chartered Professional Human Resources (CPHR) diploma from Red Deer Polytechnic.
