Indigenous Flag Blessing

Administrative teams from each school in the division were part of an Indigenous Flag Blessing ceremony. Elders from Treaty 6, Treaty 7 and the Metis Nation joined together to perform their own time-honoured ceremony for multiple flags of the nations they represent. This way, each Chinook's Edge school is ready to install their own Indigenous Flags at their schools this spring. Students provided a spirited celebration in dance at the special event!
