A Jumpstart on High School

Twelve students spent part of the summer participating in a new online course, and received six high school CTS technology credits and a chromebook in the process.

The course was primarily self-directed, under the guidance of Michelle Baragar, Learning Services Coordinator (Educational Technology).

“They worked through a series of modules on Google Workspace, which also helped build solid skills as they entered high school,” said Michelle. “This pilot project was offered to students at Olds High, but it was so successful we hope to offer it more broadly next summer.”
