Alex Schultz

Financial Services - Assistant Treasurer

Key Roles

Alex is the Assistant Treasurer and has been with the division since 2007.  She works directly with the Treasurer and the Financial Services team to meet the budgeting, financial management and financial reporting needs of the division.  Specific responsibilities include supporting schools and department budgeting and reporting, accounts receivable, and the parent payment processes.

Alex attended Red Deer College and went on to complete her CGA designation; she is now a CPA, CGA. Alex is a mother of 3, grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 1. She has worked in the past with organizations that support families of children with special needs.  She was named one of the Unsung Heroines in the Alberta Centennial Year for her work  with children's organizations.
