The Government of Alberta has lifted most COVID-19 protocols effective March 1, 2022. As always, Chinook's Edge is following Alberta Health Services guidelines and have lifted the protocols that are no longer required by the government.

Provincial Government announces phased-in easing of restrictions, February 8, 2022
Optional Rapid Tests and Masks: In a continued effort to lower the risk of in school transmission of the Omicron variant and provide an additional layer of protection, the Government of Alberta has supplied rapid tests and masks for schools. A how-to video for parents and a rapid test program fact sheet translated into multiple languages offers tips on how to use the optional rapid test kits.
